TX91 Module with NXP i.MX913 single 1.4GHz core
A new performance standard for a low-cost SoM
TX91 is the latest tiny 68mm x 26mm SODIMM system-on-module in the Ka-Ro TX-module pin-compatible family, based on the NXP i.MX91 processor. TX91 features a powerful ARM Cortex-A55 processor core running at up to 1400MHz. The SoM integrates 512MB of LPDDR4 RAM, as well as 4GB eMMC flash, and supports an operating temperature range of -25C to +85C. A 24-bit parallel RGB display output is provided. This stripped down processor core complex opens the way to sub 0.5W operation. Comprehensive connectivity includes dual Ethernet, dual CAN, SD/eMMC, dual USB, as well as up to 8x UARTs, 7x I2C ports and 8x SPI.
TX91 comes with a Yocto distribution Linux BSP with full sources and installable VM for development. In common with the rest of the pin-compatible TRITON-TX family, it requires a single 3.3 to 5.5v supply and provides an up to 300mA 3.3V power output for use on the baseboard.
The i.MX91-based TX91 offers excellent performance, fuelled by the 1.4 GHz 64-bit core and high memory bandwidth, in a full temperature-range SoM, at a reasonable price, and is aimed at a broad range of industrial solutions including IoT Edge processing.

i.MX9 series processors have a sophisticat

board-7 provides a complete development environment based on TX91, running Yocto-packaged mainline Linux out-of-the-box. The development system consists of a baseboard which provides an unpopulated bank of 0.1″ headers for all 200 module pins, plus connectors for all the main module interfaces, and includes additional peripherals such as an SGTL5000 audio codec. Other connectors include USB, Ethernet, SDCard, CAN, RS-232 and RS-485. The Mainboard-7 offers an optional 640×480 capacitive touch screen, and an LVDS output to enable connection of other screen sizes.
