ALD-700 series Qseven Modules with Apollo Lake E3900 series Atom

ALD-700 is a series of production-ready system-on-modules based on the Q7 standard (7cm square boards with 230-pin edge-connector) powered by 6th-generation Intel Atom E3900 “Apollo Lake” processors – SoC Atoms with outstanding multimedia performance – including x7-E3950, x5-E3940, x5-E3930 as well as the pin-compatible Pentium N4200 and Celeron N3350. Family devices include both dual and quad core variants with a range of TDP extending from 6W-12W. The E3900 processors are available in full industrial temperature spec.

The ALD-700 series modules run Windows 10, including Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and Core, as well as Debian 8, CentOS 7, Ubuntu 15.10 and Yocto 2.0 Linux distributions.

4GB or 8GB of onboard 1600MHz dual-channel DDR3L RAM is supplied as standard.

On module connectivity includes 4x PCIe, up to 4 USB 2.0 and 3 USB 3.0 ports, LVDS, HDMI, eDP and DVI display support. Gigabit Ethernet is supported.

A heatsink is required in normal fanless applications, and this can be supplied.

A mini-ITX (170mm square) standard baseboard is available – Q7X151, and provides a broad range of connectors, including SATA 3.0, PCIe x4, CANbus, I2C, LPC, GPIO, LVDS, DisplayPort and audio via a RealTek ALC886 controller We are able to assist customers wishing to incorporate a custom baseboard in their design.

ALD700 is available to order in both commercial and industrial temperature spec, with E3930/40/50 processors, 4GB or 8GB RAM, and optional 16GB eMMC. Other configurations, including N4200 and other eMMC sizes, are available for volume customers.
