ALF51 production-quality 1.8″ board supports Windows 10 IoT, onboard RAM and eMMC

ALF51 is a tiny fanless industrial PC-board measuring just 84mm by 55mm which makes it ideally suited to simple, highly-space-limited applications.. The dual or quad core 6th generation Apollo Lake series CPU, including N3350, as well as the Atom x7-E3950 Apollo Lake, x5-E3940 and x5-E3930, offering low power operation and enhanced graphics. The ALF51 uses industrial-grade components to ensure exceptional quality, a long product lifecycle and product endurance.

With 2 or 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM onboard, and a 32 or 64GB eMMC, it’s a powerful self-contained PC, ideal for running either Windows 10 IoT Enterprise Entry, Linux or QNX.  There is a full-size miniPCIe port for expansion such as modems for IoT applications, and a miniDP++ port capable of both HDMI and DisplayPort connection. Dual Ethernet, 3x USB ports, COM port (RS232/485) are provided as well as SMBus and GPIO.

For industrial applications, the ALF51 is available in extended (-20C to +70C) and full industrial (-40C to +85C) temperature specification. The board features 12v single supply as standard.

Eligible for Low Cost Windows 10 licensing

This product can be supplied with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise “Entry”, with a licence cost under £40, while preserving full Windows 10 functionality.

As well as desktop Windows 10, the ALF51 supports Windows 10 IoT Enterprise. As well as providing additional features for securing and debranding industrial products, the “IoT Enterprise” version of Windows 10 offers LTSC functionality so that automatic updating doesn’t potentially interfere with repeatable operation. This product also qualifies for the “Entry” licensing level which means that Windows 10 licenses can be considerably less than 50% of the usual cost.
