QNX 7.0 Board Support Package for TX8M i.MX8M Mini

We now offer a Board Support Package (BSP) which permits use of QNX 7 with the Ka-Ro TX8M Mini module (also known by Direct Insight customers as TRITON-TX8M – all Ka-Ro modules are available from us).

The BSP allows you to use the module in a QNX project and offers a range of supported drivers including Ethernet, Watchdog timer, I2C, SPI, USB, SD Card, UART. A display driver is available as an optional item.

The TX8M  is a versatile module measuring just 68mm x 26mm and combining the excellent performance of the i.MX8M Mini with quad ARM Cortex-A53 64-bit cores clocked at 1.6GHz, with up to 2GB RAM and 4GB eMMC. Despite the huge processing power, it’s both a cost-effective and low-power solution. All that’s required to complete a project is a simple custom baseboard.

This BSP is available to download in binary form, subject to license agreement, for evaluation purposes. The BSP is also available as source* under a per-project license. The source version of the BSP attracts a modest support fee, under which we can discuss and advise on its suitability for your project, and also assist with the build process. Additional services, including further drivers, and production-ready testing are available. We can also assist with the design of your baseboard.
