Dual Capacitive Touch LVDS display subsystem for TRITON-TX

LVDS and SATA adapter for StarterKit-5 supports TRITON-TX53 and TX6

LVDS and SATA adapter for StarterKit-5 supports i.MX53 and i.MX6 TRITON-TX family systeom-on-modules. In order to support the multiple differential signalling pairs needed to access the i.MX53 or i.MX6 SATA and dual LVDS capability, an alternate build of TRITON-TX53, TRITON-TX6Q and TRITON-TX6DL is available. The pins used for parallel LCD output on the standard module are substituted for this purpose.

A special adapter for the StarterKit-5 brings these pins to appropriate dual LVDS and SATA connectors. The Hirose DF19G-30P-1H connector used for LVDS is the compatible with the Freescale MCIMX-LVDS1 10.1” 1024×768 capacitive touch display, and this touchscreen is therefore supported out-of-the-box by both Windows Embedded Compact 7 and Linux BSPs. Other LVDS screens including the 7” 800×480 EDT can be supported via special cables. Your StarterKit-5 can be shipped with a suitable sample image on request.
