TRITON-TX6UL Module with i.MX6 UltraLite
Low-cost and low-power with NXP’s latest low-cost processor
TRITON-TX6UL is the latest tiny 68mm x 26mm SODIMM system-on-module based on NXP’s (was Freescale) iMX6 processors, which are in turn part of the pin-compatible TRITON-TX module family. The TRITON-TX6UL is based on NXP’s i.MX6 UltraLite (MCIMXG2) featuring a single-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor running at 528MHz. The TRITON-TX6UL comes with 256MB DDR3 RAM, and either 128MB NAND Flash or a 4GB eMMC. As well as very low-power operation, the i.MX6 UltraLite offers secure boot and a AES/TDES/SHA crypto-engine. The module provides a wide range of connectivity including two Ethernet ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a 24bpp LCD controller, camera interface, up to 8 UARTs, SDIO, audio, dual CAN and 12-bit ADC with up to 8 inputs.
TRITON-TX6UL comes with mainline Linux BSP. The i.MX6 based TRITON-TX6 family modules take a single 3.3 to 5.5v supply and provide an up to 300mA 3.3V power output for use on the baseboard.
The i.MX6 UltraLite based TRITON-TX6UL bring powerful touch-screen performance to the embedded user, at a budget price, in a range of applications including medical devices, industrial products and smart energy devices.
