Microsoft has recently added three new Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) qualifications which are relevant to professional engineers working with Windows Embedded CE 6.0 or Windows Embedded Standard. These qualifications are a recognised mark of expertise in the relevant technology and also confer the benefits of Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) status.

We are now offering a short day course (3pm finish), tutored exclusively by our most experienced instructor, designed to prepare candidates for each exam - 70-577 for Windows Embedded Standard 2009, 70-571 for Windows Embedded CE 6.0, and 70-582 for Windows Embedded Standard 7.

These courses are intended for developers who are experienced in the relevant Windows Embedded technology and/or have recently completed our 2 or 3-day hands-on training. The short course includes a discussion of the examination format, question style and syllabus, as well as revision lab sessions focusing on technical topics most relevant to the curriculum.

The test itself can be taken at any time, at one of dozens of Prometric test centres located around the UK and Europe.

The courses are usually held on the day following the associated 2 or 3-day course so that delegates wishing to progress to MCTS status can add the course as an additional day.
