Microsoft Windows Embedded Training Partner Direct Insight offers two courses for Windows Embedded CE. This page describes our thee-day "deep-dive" course. Windows Embedded CE 6.0 3 Day Deep Dive

Our Windows Embedded CE deep-dive 3-day course shows you the whole process of embedded platform development using Windows CE 6.0. A combination of small-group classroom teaching and hands-on labs is used to maximum effect to maximise retention. The course is interactive, and delegates are encouraged to question and explore the subject matter.

Each section of the training is reinforced using a hands-on lab, based on real-world, ARM-based hardware. The training and labs are delivered by our in-house Microsoft qualified trainers.

The first day of this course is similar to our one-day course, but enhanced by the inclusion of some lab content. Day 1 topics include and introduction to the technology, description of tools and processes and the build system. Days 2 and 3 go deeper into aspects of platform creation including the BSP, bootloader and device driver development, as well as architecture, advanced tools topics, OS components, application development and testing.
