Moving to production, your system will usually consist of a baseboard on which the SwiftModule is mounted. This may be as simple as a breakout to provide connectors for the interfaces in use, or may contain additional active circuitry to complete your system.
There are three routes to successful baseboard implementation:
- specify your system, and have us create your baseboard for you. This is a quick, reliable, and cost-effective route at any production volume from a handful to tens of thousands
- use the supplied baseboard schematics and reference information
to create your own baseboard. Because all the high-speed, high-density
electronics is on the module, a simple two-sided design will usually
suffice, and copying the SwiftKit or SwiftLite design is all that is
required.
- talk to us about SwiftLite off-the-shelf baseboards - ready made baseboards which are built to accommodate typical interface scenarios.
SwiftLite off-the-shelf Baseboards
For
the most rapid time to market, use our standard SwiftLite baseboard,
which can be depopulated according to your specification. The standard
range of interfaces/connectors provided is as below. The LCD connector
is for our standard 7" unit - other requirements can be met by an
adaptor on the TTL LCD output, or by using LVDS.
