SwiftModule Family : SwiftLite-4460 off-the shelf Production Baseboard

SwiftLite-4460 is the carrier board used as a development system for the SwiftModule-4460 system-on-module, and is also available in quantity for use as a production baseboard, which with the OMAP4460-equipped module provides a complete SBC solution for low and medium volume use. A higher volume user would usually find it more cost effective to use a custom baseboard with the module.

Measuring 105x120mm, and having connectors arranged around the edge in an enclosure-friendly fashion, SwiftLite is an alternative, off-the-shelf, approach to designing your own carrier board.

For volumes of 100 or more, it is possible to customize the SwiftLite board by removing unwanted devices and connectors. The SwiftModule can also be customized to achieve further savings.

SwiftLite-4460 off-the-shelf solutions

For the most rapid time to market, use our standard SwiftLite-4460 Customboard baseboard. If your volume is over 100, and you are willing to wait, we can produce a modified version (depopulated according to your specification) which will reduce the cost. For volumes of 500 or more, you should consider asking us to spin a custom baseboard.

The SwiftModule-4460 is accommodated via a 200-pin SODIMM socket to form a complete system running Linux or Android. An additional cable between the module and baseboard optionally connects the GPMC bus.
