SwiftModule - Tiny Production Ready Modules

SwiftModule is a family of low-power, high performance production-ready system-on-modules supplied with comprehensive production-quality Board Support Packages (BSP) for Windows CE 6.0, Windows Embedded Compact 7, Linux and Android. SwiftModule-OM is based on OMAP3530, but in most designs is now replaced by either the pin-compatible SwiftModule-DM with DM3730 or AM3703, these devices being higher performance replacements for the OMAP – or SwiftModule-AM based on AM3505 or AM3517, which are low-cost devices, very similar in performance and architecture to OMAP3530. SwiftModule-PX is an older design based on a Marvell PXA320 microcontroller

When you base your product on SwiftModule the most time-consuming and expensive part of the hardware design is already done for you, as is the equally costly porting of the operating system to the hardware, enabling you to get to market in a matter of weeks.

All that is required to finish your product is a custom baseboard, either based on the schematics and libraries that we supply, or created by us, based on your "shopping list" of connectors and any additional interfaces. Plug in the module, configure and install the BSP (we can also do that for you if you prefer), load your application and you're done.

	SwiftModule-4460 with dual Cortex-A9 OMAP 4460 Providing two 1.5GHz cores and up to 1080p30 video decode and encode, the OMAP4460-based SwiftModule-4460 is the ultimate high-performance system on module
	SwiftModule-DM based on DM3730 or AM3703 offers up to 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 performance, with optional Open GL ES 2.0 graphics and video DSP subsystem. This module is fully pin-compatible with OMAP3530 SwiftModule-OM.
	SwiftModule-AM based on Sitara AM3517 or AM3505 is the lowest cost SwiftModule, with 600MHz ARM Cortex-A8. Open GL ES 2.0 support is available in the AM3517, and there is a second USB Host port, and CAN support.
	SwiftModule-OM is the original OMAP3503/OMAP3503 based design, with up to 720MHz ARM Cortex-A8. It is still available, but in nearly all configurations there is a less expensive or higher performance AM or DM alternative.
	SwiftModule-PX an older PXA320 based module, with optional on-board WiFi. In most new designs, SwiftModule-AM should be considered as an alternative with superior longevity.
