Sophia
- EJ-SCT multi-target JTAG probe and Flash Programming System
EJ-SCT from Sophia Systems is a new-generation, multi-target development
tool. Just update the JTAG cable and software to add debug and flash-writing
support for a wide range of embedded CPU families.
Because EJ-SCT target support is a software-defined, you can easily
and cost-effectively upgrade to cover new microcontroller families as
you progress to different targets. By using the same debug tools and
setup for different projects, tools budgets are better utilised, and
the learning curve is shortened.
EJ-SCT is a small, ergonomically-styled unit which is connected and
powered via USB. The target connection is achieved via an interchangeable
JTAG ribbon cable, at speed of over 1MByte/sec, and the connection is
made via USB to a hosting Windows PC running the powerful watchpoint
debugger which is supplied with the unit.
The powerful Watchpoint debugger is tightly integrated with the probe,
and validated with a wide range of standard boards. Watchpoint offers
optional interfaces for Linux (GDB) and Windows CE (Platform Builder)
debug environments.
- USB connected and powered - no AC adapter
- Ergonomic silicon grip
- ETB and ETM trace support
- Development and production flash programming modes
- Windows CE 6.0 and Linux support
- Fast download (1MByte/sec)
- Debug all CPU types with one JTAG probe
- Software upgrade for new targets
- measures just 70mm x 108mm x 17mm
A production-Ready Flash programmer
EJ-SCT also performs Flash programming, and in a production setting,
the programming data is held within the unit, so that the PC connection
is not required, and programming is accomplished via a simple "Go" button
on the front of the probe.
