System-on-Module with Marvell Kirkwood 88F6281
The new TRITON-TK71 is a QSeven format module
and reference design incorporating Marvell's Kirkwood 88F6281 processor
with 1.2GHz Sheeva ARMv5TE CPU. The 88F6281 is suitable for a wide
range of applications such as routers, gateway, media server, storage,
set-top-box, networking, point of service and printer products.
On-chip resources include
PCI Express, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two SATA 2.0 ports, and
audio and MPEG-2 TS interface, two TDM channels as well as USB, UARTs,
SDIO and SPI ports.
The TK71 module,
measuring 70mm square, as well as the Marvell Kirkwood processor
includes 256MB of DDR2 SDRAM and 128MB NAND Flash as well as a 7-way
USB Hub, and operates from a single 5v power supply.
The module ships with full module schematics, and a Linux BSP, with
full source supplied supports the module and baseboard, so that users
have the option of using the system as a reference point for creation
of their own 88F6281 design.
Warpcomm Baseboard

WarpComm baseboard for TK71 module with Marvell Kirkwood 88F6281
The Warpcomm development system baseboard measures 100 x 122mm and
carries the TK71 module on one side, and an optional 2.5" HDD
on the other. Connectors include 6x USB 2.0 (3 A-type connectors,
3 on headers), SATA, RS-232, JTAG, SD Card, PCIe and 2x Gigabit Ethernet.
