Develop software/hardware tests using industry-standard tools
The Impulse C libraries are compatible with a wide range of available C and C++ integrated development environments (IDEs) including Microsoft Visual Studio (shown below), Codewarrior from Metrowerks and freely-available tools based on the open source GCC and GDB tools. Because Impulse C applications can be compiled in these environments to create native host applications, you can use the full power of C and C++ to create extensive test suites for your application, and create parallel test environments for legacy (processor-based) C and Impulse C versions of your applications and algorithms. This is a huge benefit, particularly when validating the results of legacy application porting.

Widely available C and C++ development environments may be used for application debugging, including Microsoft Visual Studio.
