E6xx Atom board SBC single chip Atom

Based on the new Intel Atom Processor E6xx series, Cinnamon Bay EX is a next-generation member of ADI’s Cinnamon Bay SBC product line. Cinnamon Bay EX comes in both commercial and industrial temperature grades, including single-chip thin E6xx configurations offering substantially lower costs, and lower power consumption, than E6xx SBCs based on the conventional E6xx two-chip architecture.

For requirements of 1k units or more, it is possible to create a cost-effective solution by customising the single chip A620P SKU (see table below) to create specific additional interfaces, and this can be achieved with minimal NRE. Please contact us for details.

Single chip operation is just one of a range of special features offered by the Cinnamon Bay EX family, which include extended temperature operation and 25W 802.3at Power-over-Ethernet (PoE). The E6xx processors also offer the possibility of full HD (1080p) video decode, and a PCI Express expansion socket is available.
