Press Release - Embedded Product Manager for Direct Insight

Brackley, Northants 18th January 2002. Direct Insight is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan Hector as Product Manager for Embedded Tools, Products and Services.

Jonathan joins Direct Insight from Infineon's UK Microcontroller Team, where he was responsible for developing microcontroller design business including for C166 and TriCore processors. Prior to that, he worked for several years at Applied Microsystems Corp, in roles including European Product Specialist, and European Manager for Distribution Products.

"Jonathan has extensive experience of UK embedded markets, and has first-hand experience from the viewpoints of tool vendors, silicon vendors and users," said David Pashley, Direct Insight's MD. "Jonathan's challenge is to drive our continuing growth in the embedded arena, while ensuring that we keep to our mission to bring the highest possible levels of technical support and understanding to our customers. I'm sure he'll be very successful." he continued.
