Windows Embedded IHV of the year

Edinburgh, Scotland, October 29th 2009: Leading supplier of development and production platforms for users of Windows Embedded operating systems, Direct Insight, has been recognized as Independent Hardware Vendor of the Year for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region by Microsoft’s Windows Embedded Business.

The Windows Embedded Partner Excellence Awards are given annually and recognize visionary organizations around the world that use Windows Embedded technology in innovative and creative ways to drive business results. The category of Independent Hardware Vendor includes over 100 suppliers across Europe that provide platforms based on boards, modules and embedded PCs running the Windows Embedded operating systems.

Direct Insight works closely with electronics OEMs across a broad range of market sectors providing innovative, quality hardware solutions, as well as mentoring, training and services to facilitate the adoption of both Windows Embedded CE and Windows Embedded Standard.
