AM37x/DM37x ARM Cortex-A8 devices
Texas
Instruments' Sitara AM3703/AM3715 and Da Vinci DM3725/DM3730 are a revamp
of the OMAP3530 series of devices, with a process update from 65nm to 45nm,
hence lower power consumption, and faster clocks. These devices are not
to be confused with the AM35x (AM3505, AM3517) devices, which are earlier
devices in the ARM Cortex-A8 branch of the Sitara family, with a different
feature set.
Production-ready modules: SwiftModule-DM In a natural evolution
of the OMAP35x based SwiftModule-OM, we have now announced a new module
family based on the DM3730, and the rest of the DM/AM37x Sitara family.
Similar in functionality to SwiftModule-OM, but offering 800MHz and
1GHz clocked processors, the SwiftModule-DM devices offer the ultimate performance
for graphics and video.
