Freescale DSP56xxx
The DSP56xxx family is popular across a broad range
of applications including Digital Audio, Telecoms, Automotive, Control
and Instrumentation. Direct Insight has been supporting DSP56xxx users
with productivity-enhancing tools since the late 90s.
We have tools support for all families including DSP56800, DSP568300/E
and DSP56300.
High Performance Development Environment for DSP563xx: TASKING
The optimizing capabilities of the TASKING DSP56xxx C/C++/EC++ compiler
tools and the program performance analysis functionality of the CrossView
Pro Debugger mean that users of these tools achieve code compactness and
performance, as well as coding productivity which is very much better
than the alternative toolset.
The TASKING environment is fully interoperable with the Motorola GNU
tools, and supports DSP56000, DSP56300 and DSP56600 families. The TASKING
DSP56xxx Software Development Toolset is interoperable with the Motorola
GNU environment and supports COFF (.CLD) compatibility and the GNU calling
convention, enabling you to generate code for the Motorola assembler and
linker with COFF - compliant debug information. Support is for DSP56000,
DSP56300 and DSP56600 families.
Advanced features like code profiling, coverage analysis and programmable
graphical data analysis are among a wide array of productivity-enhancing
capabilities.
Domain Technologies
Multi-target JTAG/OnCE Emulators
The DomainTec emulators support all DSP56xxx devices and support software
development with connection of single and/or multiple targets to single
and/or multiple hosts via RS232, USB or TCP/IP connection.
Fully compatible with TASKING and Motorola compilers, the SB56K emulators
come complete with the powerful BoxView debug software. The range of JTAG
clocking is from 32KHz to 4MHz. The system also provides a timing capability
for code benchmarking.
