Processors - Marvell Kirkwood 88F6281 microcontrollerThe Kirkwood series of microcontrollers from Marvell include high performance Sheeva ARM cores, with clock speeds up to 2.0 GHz and a range of connectivity including dual Gigabit Ethernet, SATA II and TDM ports as well as MPEG-TS and PCIe bus, making them ideal for a range of applications including home gateway/access point, set-top boxes, network storage, digital home media servers, point of services terminal, and plug computers. Family members include 88F6281, 88F6280, 88F6282, 88F6283, 88F6323, 88F6322, 88F6321, 88F6180, 88F6190 and 88F6192. Production-ready System-on-Module: KaRo WarpComm TK71
The TK71 is a 7cm square module with a 200-pin DIMM style connector containing a 1.2GHz 88F6281 processor, with 256 or 512MB of DDR RAM, 128MB NAND Flash, a 7-port USB hub, and working from a single 5v supply. Dual Gigabit Ethernet MACs with one onboard PHY, a PCIe bus and dual SATA ports with integrated PHY are provided. A development baseboard is available, which includes a location for a 2.5" HDD.
