The new TASKING VX-toolset for C166 / ST10 promises substantial performance gains over traditional C166 development tools - initial benchmarking of the TASKING VX-toolset for the C166/ST10 microcontroller family indicates that it provides an average improvement of 45% in code compression and 24% in code speed optimization. This high performance is enabled by next-generation "Viper" C compiler technology.
Real-Time Operating System: Segger embOS
embOS is a real-time operating system for embedded applications designed to offer the benefits of a fully fledged multitasking system at minimum cost. The kernel is fully interruptible and so efficient that it can be used in very time critical situations. The memory footprint in both RAM and ROM is so small that it can be used in single-chip applications, leaving maximum room for the user-program. |

We are very pleased with our purchase of a Corelis Boundary
Scanning System as it has proven to be an invaluable tool in
identifying faults in boards supplied by our Contract Manufacturers.
A recent problem with a batch of printed circuit boards was
quickly identified and isolated by the system which has saved
my Company over £50k. We are now planning to place Corelis
Boundary Scanners with all of our CM partners.
