Integrated Development Environment: IAR Systems
IAR Embedded Workbench provides a completely integrated development environment including a project manager, editor, build tools and the C-SPY debugger. In a continuous workflow, you can create source files and projects, build applications and debug them in a simulator or on hardware. IAR Systems is well known for highly optimized compilers. Every C/C++ compiler contains both generic global optimizations as well as low-level chip-specific optimizations that take advantage of all the specific features of your selected device.
The optional PowerPAC RTOS adds an affordable real-time kernel, file system, and optional USB and Ethernet support.
KickStart Kits for NXP (Philips) LPC, TI TMS470, Atmel
AT91SAM7, OKI, STR7: IAR
Systems
IAR
KickStart Kits contain everything you need to get started with development,
and to try out your application directly on the device. Each kit includes
code-size limited development system with C/C++ compiler and example
code, development board and- JTAG probe with flash programming
Low-cost GNU-based Integrated Development Environment: Microcross
Microcross' Visual X-Tools is a GUI-based development environment based
on the GNU standard for 16-/32-bit cross-development tools. Based on the
Visual SlickEdit framework, this product is built on a standard reference
base and delivered with pre-configured binaries, tested and ready-to-run.
Visual X-Tools features quality tools: Visual Integrated Development Environment
(code editor, source browser, build and debug features), C/C++ (Java and
Fortran cross-compilers) cross-compiler, Assembler, debugger, linker,
loader, utilities, documentation and more. Along with GNU X-Tools' paperback
user's guide with release notes, comes a full set of GNU documentation
for each tool (over 6,500 pages in electronic PDF format). Packaged with
one of our JTAG interfaces, such as Majic or Jeeni, this represents the
ultimate low-cost, high-performance development environment.
JTAG emulators and debuggers: Sophia, Signum, EPI.
We offer a broad range of JTAG debuggers to cover every imaginable combination
of development environments, embedded OS and target device.
Sophia's EJ-Debug is a powerful, USB-powered probe with ETM trace and ARM11 / Cortex support which features the Watchpoint debugger and optional Platform Builder interface including support for Windows CE 6.0.
Signum's JTAG-jet
is a flexible, fast system with optional 4MB, 400MHz ETM trace, and support
for a broad range of devices including NXP (Philips) LPC, STR7, TMS470 and OMAP.
EPI
Majic has OpenDebug interfacing which allows this probe to work seamlessly
with a broad range of 3rd party debuggers including GDB, RealView and Platform
Builder amongst many others.
