Windows CE.Net 4.2 BSP for PXA255 XScale development board
Cogent CSB226 now runs Windows CE.NET 4.2
Windows CE.NET combines an advanced real-time embedded operating system
with the most powerful tools for rapidly creating the next generation
of smart, connected, and small-footprint devices.Windows Embedded Partner
Direct Insight is pleased to announce the availability of Windows CE.NET
support for the popular Cogent CSB226 PXA255 development board for the
Intel XScale PCA architecture.
All of the main features of the CSB226 are supported by the WindowsCE.NET
BSP, including PCS display, PS/2 keyboard and mouse, 10BaseT Ethernet,
CompactFlash, Audio, PXA Clock/calendar, USB, remote console and serial
ports.
Advanced BSP features ease development of Windows CE.NET 4.2 applications
using Platform Builder or Visual Studio include a desktop USB host driver
to ease connection. For driver development and BSP customisation, the
EPI MajicMX advanced JTAG emulator provides access to the XScale's on-chip
debug facilities, including Intel on-chip Trace, via a Platform Builder
plug-in, and BSP source is available.
