Venturcom makes Windows real-time

Venturcom Inc and Direct Insight have got together to bring the leading real-time Windows technology to UK and Irish systems engineers.

Venturcom's RTX is an extension to Windows NT, 2000 or XP that gives you hard real-time capability - ideal for industrial automation, instrumentation, comms infrastructure, and many other types of project where it makes sense to use the power of Windows, but real-time control is needed.

Under the agreement, Direct Insight will provide support, marketing and value-added services for current and future users of Venturcom's product range, which also includes the ETS real-time operating system with Windows API for x86, and the BXP remote boot and run solution for Windows.
