GPS design for SwiftModule

SwiftGPS design and board now available

SwiftGPS is a production-ready GPS design-in for a SwiftModule baseboard, and ships complete with a daughterboard which plugs into the extension header of the SwiftKit development system, giving instant GPS functionality to the developer, and providing an instant prototype.

SwiftModule is a complete system-on-module, ready to be designed into a Windows CE-based system to achieve a cost-effective implementation and rapid time-to-market. Because all the high-speed high density electronics is contained within the system-on-module, and because a complete Windows CE Board Support Package (BSP) is supplied, an otherwise complex project is reduced to the creation of a simple baseboard from provided IP, reducing the typical time-to-market to 8-10 weeks.

SwiftGPS uses a Global Top FGPMMOPA6 66-channel GPS Engine Board with GPS antenna and provides high sensitivity. Position accuracy is less than 3m, and power consumption is less than 37mA while tracking.
