Ardence introduces RTX version 7.1Support for IPv6 enhances performance Ardence has introduced version 7.1 of the RTX real-time software solution for Windows XPe RTX 7.1, with continued support of multi-core architectures, also includes support for IPv4 and IPv6 by incorporating the Fusion Networking Stack from Unicoi. Developed from the ground up for embedded systems, the Fusion Networking Stack is a scaleable, highly portable protocol solution written in 100% ANSI C language, and is processor, operating-system and compiler independent. With support for IPv6, the Fusion Networking Stack improves TCP transport algorithms and offers a device driver filter layer. Additionally, it provides a platform for next-generation Internet functionality, including support for real-time flows, provider selection, host mobility and end-to-end security. RTX provides functionality that gives developers deterministic control of Windows-based systems that require a high level of performance and scalability. RTX allows developers to reduce system costs, improve reliability, speed the time to market and increase the performance of their applications. Additional features introduced in RTX version 7.1 include:
