RTEMS open-source RTOS ported to Atmel AT91RM9200 board

Cogent CSB337 gets RTOS and GNU debug package

The 81mm x 89mm CSB337, based on the highly popular Atmel AT91RM9200 processor with its ARM920T core, and wealth of on-chip peripherals, is a successful development platform and OEM board, and as such as attracting increasing RTOS support.

The Board Support Package (BSP) for the open-source RTEMS operating system includes Serial Console I/O, the Real-Time Clock, OS and General Purpose Timers and Ethernet I/O. Future releases will provide support for: CAN I/O (low level library only); LCD Controller (low level graphics library); and MS-DOS Filesystem via Compact Flash and SD/MMC Card Socket. RTEMS provides TCP/IP via the FreeBSD stack, and a GNU tools build incorporating an RTEMS-aware version of GDB is available.
