Collaboration bears fruit with fast flash programming for DiskOnChip
Data I/O and M-Systems, who announced a collaboration on fast programming of NAND Flash devices at last year's Electronica, have introduced support for 6 devices in M-Systems's Millennium DiskOnChip family.
Data I/O's FlashCORE programmer technology programs a typical 16MByte
NAND device in about 20 seconds. The devices, which range in size from
128Mbit to 512Mbit are in TSOP48 and uBGA63 packages, are supported on
all members of the FlashCORE family, including the FlashPAK fast desktop
programmer, the ProLINE RoadRunner in-line program-at-placement system
and the PS300FC high-speed automated off-line programming system.
