Pin Compatible TRITON modules get mainline Linux support
The latest BSPs for the i.MX53 and i.MX51 based members of the TRITON family of production-ready modules (TRITON-TX53 and TRITON-TX51) have new BSP version providing support for the latest version of Linux, 3.0.
The new BSPs have a common specification and include support for a broad range of drivers, including Ethernet, LCD, SD Card, USB Device and Host. Additional serial interface protocols are supported including SPI, I2C, UART. Drivers for PWM, GPIO and timers are provided.
A key advantage of support at the current Linux 3.0 version is that community additions and enhancements can be easily accessed by TRITON users. The new BSP will be automatically pushed out to customers under support. The existing 2.6.31 BSP for TRITON-TX51 will continue to be supported. Windows Embedded CE 6.0 (i.MX51 only) and Compact 7 BSPs are also available.
