Data I/O updates flash support, adds to Unisite, 3980, Sprint, introduces Tasklink 5
Fast flash programmer now has broad device support, network control.
Data I/O FlashPAK - the world's fastest Flash programmer - has been
updated with over 300 new device algorithms. Support has been added for
a wide range of NAND Flash devices, including Samsung K5 and K9, SanDisk
SDNTF128, and M-Systems DiskonChip Millenium Plus devices. A large range
of flash microcontrollers have also been included.
At the same time, Data I/O has announced Unisystem version 7.3 which brings
several new device families to the Unisite, 3980 xpi and 2900 programmer
families. These include over 50 devices from AMD - mostly Mirrorbit Flash,
Atmel CANary CAN microcontrollers, NanoAMP Flash and SRAM combination
menories, Lattice CPLDs and STMicro serial flash devices.
The Sprint family of programmers has also been updated to add many new
device families from Renesas, Cygnal, NEC, ST and others.
Finally, Data I/O has introduced new programmer control and job creation
and management software for all programmers - TaskLink for Windows. With
the new software, users of FlashPAK and its automated cousins - RoadRunner
and PS300FC - can create, manage and analyse programming tasks remotely
using the programmer's Ethernet interface.
All the new updates are supplied free of charge to users user support
contract, and include a free upgrade to TaskLink for Windows V5.0.
