Enhanced version of Segger emWin GUI tool released
v3.62
emWin includes JPEG support, new drivers, network operation
emWin, probably the most efficient and comprehensive GUI tool available
today, has been upgraded with a major new release. emWin helps developers
beat their timelines and development cost constraints.
Major enhancements in the new emWin include library support for JPEG decompression.
VNC (Virtual Network Computing) support is a standard client server system
based on a simple display protocol. It allows the user to view and control
a computing desktop environment via TCP/IP from anywhere on the Internet
and make screenshots (e.g. for a manual) from a "live" system.
emWin's drivers support all common LCD controllers and new drivers are
written on demand for customers. New additions to the standard LCD controller
driver library include: Fujitsu MB87J2020 Jasmine, Fujitsu MB87J2120 Lavender,
Solomon SSD1854, Leadis LDS501, Samsung LTS180S1.
Other new features include enhanced clipping, and button drawing, as
well as modal dialogue box support.
emWin is written entirely in ANSI "C", can be used on virtually any
CPU, any LCD, with any display controller, or without a graphic controller.
"Ready to go" Starterkits allow users to work on real hardware and get
familiar with emWin.
emWin users will receive this upgrade free of charge under their support
and update contract.
See our Segger
emWin pages for further information.
