Complete ARM9 Linux development system availableIntegrated low-cost ARM9 SBC and Linux BSP
The development kit uses Cogent Computer Systems' latest miniature OEM board, the CSB637, in conjunction with Microcross GX-Linux, a comprehensive new suite of software tools including a complete Linux 2.6 Board Support Package (BSP) for the Cogent board. The Cogent CSB637 OEM is suitable for designing into low to medium volume products, and measures just 45mm x 64mm. The CSB637 can be the core of any low power, high performance device. The Cogent board supplements the Atmel microcontroller's functionality, which includes 10/100 Ethernet, USB, Dual SDIO, 4 UARTS, SSI, SPI and Compact Flash Interfaces, with 64Mbyte SDRAM and 8MByte FLASH, an onboard LCD/CRT Controller, 10/100 PHY and efficient 3.3V Regulator. This combination makes the CSB637 the ideal engine for any size restricted, low power or battery operated application. Microcross' GX-Linux comes with development tools, a BSP for the Cogent uSBC, and much more. The package includes the Visual X-Tools IDE, the GNU X-Tools distribution of GCC toolchain with Visual GDB and GDB Server, as well as the Linux v2.6.x kernel and BSP including source code. The package also includes uClibc shared and static library for embedded development, ROM or remote NFS Filesystem, BusyBox utilities, and Linux Drivers including I2C, Serial I/O, USB host, SD / MMC, TCP/Ethernet, CompactFlash and real-time clock. Further details can be found on our GX-Linux page.
