Tasking M16C and R8C/Tiny tools offer enhanced performance
Viper technology improves code performance and execution speed
Altium has released version 3.1r1 of its TASKING M16C software development
toolset, providing further improvements in performance and
execution speed of generated code. With version 3.1r1, several new
features have been introduced including run-time error checking capabilities.
Further improvements include the updating of MISRA C code checking
rules
according to MISRA-C:2004 guidelines, and the introduction of a profiler
tool in the compiler that uses code instrumentation to determine which
pieces of code execute slower than expected.
