An In-Circuit Emulator or ICE is the ultimate debugging tool for hardware
and system developers.
The target processor is removed or isolated, and replaced by the emulator.
Most ICE solutions work at full clock speed and are completely transparent.
This gives total control - you have the ability to start/stop, single-step
and break on any combination of events, as well as full visibility of
internal registers, and "overlay" memory which can be monitored
and changed independently of the target.
We can offer full ICE solutions from Sophia
and Signum for a broad
range of processors including Intel x86, Renesas M16C, SH2, SH3, SH4,
H8, and H8S, Intel XScale PXA255 and PXA270, and Zilog Z8 and Z80.
