We provide and support a wide range of debuggers from a diverse list
of suppliers including TASKING,
Intel, EPI, Sophia,
Microcross,
Viosoft and others.
Some of these are available standalone as an enhancement to an existing
tool-flow, and others as part of an integrated Development Environment.
Various types of OS awareness are available, including for Windows Embedded
CE, Linux and Symbian.
Debugging can be achieved by running your code in a simulator, by installing
a ROM Monitor in your target, by accessing your target device's on-chip
debug functionality, or by replacing your target processor with
a full ICE (In-Circuit
Emulator).
In order to access on-chip debug (also known as BDM
or JTAG debug), it may be useful to employ a dedicated JTAG or
BDM emulator.
Please take a look at our listing of resources by
processor for further details.
